Putting the chat widget on your website
One line of code, and what happens to the conversations.
Settings → AI Agent. At the bottom of that page is a line of code.
Installing it
Copy it and paste it into your website, just before the closing </body> tag. Every common website builder has a place for this — usually called custom code, header/footer scripts, or embed.
That is the whole installation. The widget appears on every page the code is on.
What it does
Visitors chat; the conversation arrives in Conversations in the CRM. If somebody leaves a name or an email, a contact is created for them automatically, with the conversation attached.
Making it sound like you
- Business context — tell it what you do, in a few sentences. This is the single biggest difference between a useful agent and a generic one.
- Never say — anything it must not promise. Prices you negotiate, delivery times you cannot guarantee.
- Questions — what you want it to find out before handing over to a person.
Greeting people first
You can have the widget open itself after a few seconds on the page. Off by default, because a chat box that leaps out at somebody reading your prices annoys more people than it catches.
If you move your CRM to a different web address, this code changes. Re-copy it, or your chat quietly stops working.
